It's been a Rep Grinding week

This week alone, ive become exalted with the following factions:
-Kurenai
-Timbermaw Hold
-The consortium
- Keepers of Time (will be complete within next hour or so).

This brings me up to 39 Exalted Reps.

It has been very easy to stay on track, and knock them off pretty quickly. My only goal was to get exalted with Kurenai and Timbermaw Hold, but after seeing how easy it was, i went through my rep tab to see who else i was at revered with, and knock them off too.

I've used a couple of tools to help with increased rep gain. The Battle Standard of Coordination, and Darkmoon Carousel. The Battle standard increases rep gain by 15%, and the Carousel by 10% and only lasts an hour. The carousel can only be ridden to gain the buff during the Darkmoon Fair.

I picked up lots of greens along the way (mostly vendor trash) and 10 stacks of Knothide Leather which should be worth a bit on the AH!

Riding the Darkmoon Faire Carousel.
Battle Standard of Coordination
Out of the factions above, Keepers of Time tool the longest. Even with the rep bonuses, it was an annoying grind doing Black Morass over and over again. The easiest was the Consortium, as all i did was clear to last boss in Mana Tombs, and then let him spawn loads of adds and then kill them all.

Mana Tombs
I am now at 39 Exalted Reputations, unsure of which one is should do next... Any ideas?

Update: I am now Exalted with Keepers of Time & Thorium Botherhood! Which makes 40 reps, and i received a new title "The Exalted"!

Bella - The Diplomat!

I have been going through my incomplete achievements and looking for ones i might be able to knock off relatively quickly, and that i started and never finished. One i have always wanted to complete but kept forgetting about, or expecting a long grind for is The Diplomat.
I'd already gotten Exalted with Sporeggar back in TBC for the mini pet and tabard, but i was still Revered with Timbermaw Hold and the Kurenai. So, i set out for Timbermaw Hold in Felwood as my first stop.

Obviously as a level 90 i was one shotting mobs, and by the time something died and i ran to the next my ranged cooldowns were up which made for consistent grinding. I set my pace collecting headress feathers, and had a couple of quests to do too which certainly helped. Less than 25 min later, i was Exalted. Definitely the easiest rep grind i have done in ages. It helped that i am in a level 25 guild which gives bonus rep.
While grinding i saw a couple of other players, but they were doing other things, like fishing.
I came across a little Log House which I've never seen before, and it was very cute and homely, so i stopped for a moment to enjoy the warmth and scent of a freshly brewed stew.

Furbolg Home - I don't want to know what's cooking...!
After getting Exalted with Timbermaw hold (and purchasing the wand that turns you into one!) i headed off to Nagrand and Started on the Kurenai. I did a couple of quest chains which gave me a decent amount of rep, and farmed war beads to hand in for rep after that. I also ran into my friend from a different realm who happened to be farming rep too!
Some really nice greens dropped for me which will be great for transmog (i will probably sell them) including a mail chest piece, cloth robe, and a shield.

After becoming Exalted (Took about an hour in total over 2 days), first thing i did was look up where the quartermaster was and purchased the Riding Talbuk's (8 in total). They look lovely and once again, i've wanted these mounts for a long time but just didn't put in the effort until now to get them. Maybe the 150 Mount Achievement isnt as unobtainable as i thought? ;)

It only took 5 years....!

From 'The Old Gnome and the Sea', to 'Master Angler of Azeroth', i have finally earned the title of Salty.

I set out today to attempt to win the Booty Bay fishing compettion which (i thought) started at 2pm as per the calendar.

It turns out that the calendar was an hour behind due to the end of Daylight Savings ending! So i logged on at 1:30, thinking i'd get a head start and got real confused when i saw the NPC's there, and someone getting the Master Angler Achievement! I rushed out to the nearest pool i found and started fishing up Speckled Tastyfish. I still had a chance of winning second and third place, but i thought i would probably be too late, unless other people made the same mistake as me and didnt think it started yet.

It didnt take me long to get the 40 fish needed, and i headed on back to Booty Bay to hand in.

I came second!

I was in too much of a rush to really think about what reward i should chose so i just clicked on High Test Eternium Fishing Line. Its useless to me though as it increases fishing skill by 5, and i am already max :/

I am glad they've made it easier to earn the title as Ive wanted to get this done for a while now, and now its finally complete!

On another note, i also earned the title of "Mountain o' Mounts and got myself a Blue Dragonhawk as the reward :) The last mount i obtained for this achievement was the Wooly Mammoth that can be bought with Justice Points from a vendor in Dalaran. The next tier achievement is 150 mounts... seems almost unobtainable!

Its been a stressful day at work....Time to unwind!

After a particulary stressful day at work, it good to know you will have something when you get home that will help you relax. When i need to de-stress, i do my dailies (which is just 1 lot at the moment - Golden Lotus), do a dungeon and like to solo play to give myself some "Time Out". Another thing i enjoy doing to unwind is gather ore/herbs...

And all with a Jug of Bourbon (or two) in hand!

What do other people do?
Raid
Play an alt
Grind mobs
Go farming for pets
PvP
Crafting

Doing Golden Lotus Dailies with my crane "Little Jerry"
I found something interesting when doing my dailies today... Something which everyone but me probably knows about.... I found a yellow battle pet in amongst green ones. It's a level 25, and called "No-No". I'm not sure what being yellow means but i would suspect it to be more difficult than the average pet. I was pretty happy when i spotted it, it helped me take my mind off work!

Finding "No-No" for the first time

Happy Noblegarden!

The in game event, Noblegarden has finally arrived. I actually enjoy the hunt for eggs, even though it seems like more and more people are camping specific spots each year.

I logged in tonight after work, and went straight to Goldshire. It's probably the busiest town on Alliance because of its location. I wasn't overly excited as I'd already completed all of the achievements back in 2009, and obtained all of the outfits/accessories except fort the Swift Springstrider :(

My only goal was to find a couple of eggs, open them, and see if i got lucky with the mount.

Upon arriving, i somehow managed to snag an awesome spot that had two eggs spawning every 10-20 seconds! I've taken a screenshot of the location if you'd like to use it. The circled areas are where both eggs spawn, and are accessible by standing at my location.

After 25 mins, i had picked up 100 eggs and..... the Swift Springstrider! So much for my 'only find a couple of eggs'.... but i couldnt give up my awesome spot! even after the mount i just continued to click on those eggs.... This is very addictive! Anyway i set my limit to 100, and pried myself away from my awesome spot. Now that i have the mount i wont ever have to return to Goldshire...but i probably will ;)

What will you be doing this Noblegarden? Have you gotten lucky with a Springstrider from an egg or have you had to buy it for 500 Chocolates?
